What we collect

Account details (name, email) via Clerk; product images and brand assets you upload; generated video outputs; billing details processed by Stripe (Studioclyp does not store raw card numbers); basic usage data (generation counts, template choices, login timestamps) used to run the credit system and improve the product.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies: Clerk's session cookie to keep you signed in, and a first-touch referral cookie (studioclyp_ref) that remembers which referral link you arrived from for up to 30 days so the referrer can be credited if you subscribe. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To generate your videos, operate your account and credit balance, send transactional email (via Loops) about generation status, low-credit balances, and billing, run the referral program, and improve the product. We do not sell your data.

Team accounts (Agency plan)

If you're invited to a teammate's Agency-plan account, your generations, uploaded product images, and brand settings are visible to and shared with that account's owner and other team members. The account owner controls seat membership and can remove a seat at any time.

Data retention & deletion

Uploaded assets and generated videos are retained for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of specific assets or your full account, email privacy@studioclyp.com — we'll remove associated data within 30 days, except records we're legally required to retain (e.g. billing history).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA). Contact us at privacy@studioclyp.com to exercise any of these rights.

Children's privacy

Studioclyp is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect data from, anyone under 16.

Third parties

Clerk (auth), Supabase (database/storage), Stripe (payments), Loops (email), Higgsfield (video generation), Vercel (hosting).

Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date above if this policy changes and, for material changes, notify you by email.
